"Thank you, i'll check them out. one other question, where can i find a pokemart?" Isaac had an idea, he wanted to prepare for some training in the wild. he had to get stronger if he wanted to make a difference in the affairs of his home. the first step to that was some wild training, and then maybe he would check out the gyms later on. after getting directions from the nurse he said goodbye and went to the pokemart. on the way he passed a bulletin board. there were multiple wanted posters on it, offering exuberant amounts of money for information or the capture of wanted criminals. it piqued his interest. maybe one of them knew something about the war. he didn't take too long thinking about it though. he wasn't anywhere near strong enough to even think about taking them on yet. once he arrived at the pokemart he grabbed the items he needed and headed over to the cashier. "i'll take these please."after he finished at the pokemart, he headed over to the first of the other pokecenters. he asked the same question of the nurse at the counter. {Items Bought}these are all basic, so i'm pretty sure they'd be available. if they aren't, just tell me and i will adjust.5 Bandages, 5 Potions, 2 Revives, 5 Pokeballs, Backpack, Single Person Tent, Sleeping Bag. so the items listed in the book come out to 4350 pyen. that leaves me with 650 to purchase the last 3 items. how much of it would be needed to purchase them?

Vera counts out her money again. After some deliberation, she decides to try and find a hotel that charges around $300 per night. That gives her three nights with the money she has now, and she can hopefully find some work around. On the way to the hotel, she'll look for areas where urban Pokemon are known to gather.

Frank: The fish is suspicious, and it is not happy about the hook in its mouth, but it seems to take well to flattery and comes closer to shore, preening a little bit.
Isaac: The first nurse gives you directions to a close by pokemart, but also informs you of Celedon's status as Kanto's greatest shopping city. You can find almost anything you could ever want in the shopping district of Celedon. It turns out non-pokemon related gear is really cheap, and so you are able to get the tent, sleeping bag and backpack together for only 100 pyen. With that stuff purchased, you make your way to the closest of the two pokemon center's that the nurse had described. Its fairly dark at this point and it is fairly startling when a young lady in bright clothing pops out of an alley you are passing and begins to speak to you. "You look like a man destined for greatness my friend. As such you will need companions to help you on your way. I have a dozen different kinds of pokemon for the discerning young pokemon trainer, all for sale, all for low prices."
Vera: Asking around gets you info on a Hotel that might suit your price point. Its situated in the middle of town, right near the shopping center and its aimed at the wealthy, with the sort of room you would be getting for that amount of money being something more akin to a suite. From what you know of urban pokemon, flying types often assemble on the roofs of tall buildings, while scavengers typically roam the streets and alleys of the poorer sections of town. In general alleyways and places with less people are the main locations that you will find urban pokemon. The shopping district is filled with extremely tall buildings, so you might be able to find some flying types if you can find a way up top, otherwise their are bound to be some pokemon in the sewers or in the south part of town that you heard was more dangerous.

"There you go. Even more amazing up close than far away," Frank says, pouring on the charm. "If I had known the pokemon around here looked like you, I would have com here ages ago; then again, you must be remarkable, even for your species." Frank slowly moves his hand away from the Spheal's ball and holds it out to the creature. "Here, let me take that hook out of your mouth. I'f you'd like to talk for a bit after that, I'd like to make you an offer; if not, then you can be on your way, and my day will have been made just seeing you." He keeps his hand outstretched and waits for the pokemon to come nearer.

#Yeah, sorry about that. For some reason it isn't readable any more. Can you read it now?
Kage stands in front of the window hands open and at his shoulders to show that he means no harm. "Looks like we both had the same idea, eh? You were pretty smooth climbing down from the roof like that. I'm very impressed. So, anything here worth a second look? I can help you move it. I'm a bit bigger than you, after all."

Vera makes her way towards the wealthy section of town, looking up at the buildings. When she gets to the shopping district, she speaks to Jess. "Hey, Jess, girl, can you fly up there and see if you can find any Pokemon up there? If you find something, use Leech Life on it and fly back." The bat tilts her head and listens for a while before nodding slightly, before spreading her wings and gliding upwards, toward the top of the building. Isaac stopped dead in his tracks. was she being serious? he had heard that some people sell pokemon for a profit, but most of them were thieves trying to get rid of hot pokemon. but then again, that was just how some people made their living by breeding and then selling pokemon. he would have to figure out which one this flamboyantly dressed girl was. he was terrible at talking to people, but maybe if he saw how the pokemon reacted to her presence... he decided to go for it. "Very well. Can i see you wares?"

Frank: The goldeen hesitates, and then swims closer, letting you take the hook out of its mouth. When you have done so it darts a bit out of reach again, but seems willing to listen. From what you know about Goldeens, this one is a fair bit smaller than average, so it might be young, but its fins are larger compared the size of its body than usual as well so it might be something else too. It seems that this one is female.
Kage: The Meowth watches you for a bit, then turns around, motioning for you to follow. It leads you down the hall a bit and to the master bedroom of the house. He motions towards the top of the dresser, where there is a small container full of jewelry. A few of the pieces of the jewelry are on the ground, and the meowth begins setting them into the jewelry bowl. It looks like he had been planning to wear out what he could, but would rather take the whole bowl if you can carry it. #Yeah, I can see it now.
Vera: You watch as your bat flies up higher and higher towards the top of the enormous shopping buildings. At last it peaks the top and disappears for a few seconds. A moment later you think you hear some noise and a moment after that you see your zubat flying as fast as it can back towards you, with a spearow and two pidgey in pursuit.
Isaac: The lady nods and opens up a bag, that seems to be stuffed with fifty or sixty pokemon. She draws out five of them and tosses them out. "Today I've got these pokemon." A Rattata, a Staryu, an Oddish, a Grimer and a Krabby appear from the pokeballs, standing, or glooping, in a rough line in front of the girl. She holds up another Pokeball. "I've also got Magicarp, but they don't do so well on land. In any event, these are the ones I have for sale for cheap, but if you are looking for something more exotic or from a different region I can hook you up as well, though it will get more expensive. We are selling any of these for 500, or 1000 for the display model." she motions to the ones that are actually in front of you. "We have trained these ones up a bit, so we have a bit more invested in them." The pokemon in question look a bit bored, but not mistreated and not scared.

Vera has already prepared for this by releasing Sam. The plump seal seems a bit put out by being released in such a dry environment, but relents upon seeing Jess in trouble. Vera quickly runs so that Jess is out of the line of fire, while pointing Sam upwards, waiting for Jess to bring the birds into range. Kage: The Meowth seems anxious to get out of the house. You've already collected more than it figured it would be able to get ahold of and it does not want to push its luck especially since you won't be able to escape quite as gracefully as it can.
Vera: Jess manages to pull the birds following it close enough that Sam is able to get off a shot. One of the pidgeys drops out of the sky from the attack, but the other two birds noticed the spheal quick enough to stay out of the blast radius. As soon as the attack goes off, they turn their attention away from the Zubat and double team the Speal. Sam's thick bulk means that the Tackle barely fazes him, while the attempted Fury Attack simply whiffs by him. "Just a Water Gun this time," comments Vera. He nods, spraying water in the face of the Spearow. {Water Gun} Water Special, AC 2 Accuracy Roll-6242902111d20 Damage-2d6+21

Understanding the Meowth's concern, Kage nods and heads out too. He urges the Meowth to follow him down, rather than go up.

Assuming we make it down, relatively unscathed, Kage urges the Meowth to perch on his shoulder to avoid any suspicious sightings. He releases his baby Sneasel, Hane, to hitch a ride as well in case of any trouble. Once out of sight, he opens his pack for the Meowth to take stock and to hopefully get his cut.

"There you are, pretty lady." Frank gently removes the hook from the fish mon's mouth. "Now, here's my deal." Frank hesitates for a moment, ordering his thoughts in his mind before he begins to speak. "Where I come from, pokemon like you are being used as tools for war. The people who are using them care nothing for their partners, training them from birth to be nothing but killing machines. I came here because I could no longer bear living in a place where pokemon were treated that way. "I want to bring beauty to the world. I want to find the most beautiful, wonderful pokemon I can and show them to the world, so that the world can see them for their beauty. I am aware, however, that the world is not completely kind to beautiful creatures, so I will also help the pokemon with me to grow strong. You are beautiful, and strong already; I couldn't even pull you to shore!" Frank smiles at the goldeen. "Here is what I'm asking. Would you be willing to come with me? I would offer you food and a safe place to stay, the chance to grow stronger, and to show your beauty in the world. Also, if you ever wanted to meet a handsome fish... well, I would be able to find one for you as well. All I would ask of you is that you let me get to know how beautiful you are inside as well as out. Minora here can vouch for the care I give to the pokemon who travel with me, right, Minora?" The little teddiursa looks up from her haughty contemplation of the goldeen, then sniffs and nods begrudgingly. "If you still need some more convincing, I have another friend I would like to bring out. His name is Capricorn, and he is a water pokemon like you." Frank points to the Spheal's ball, careful not to pick it up or make any move towards it. "He's right in there. I would have let him out earlier, but I didn't want to scare you away."
