You arrive a the dock outside the city of Celedon at around 2 o'clock, the sun shining, but slightly dampened by a light layer of fog that covers the docks. The boat ride was fairly terrible, with little room and no personal space. For many of you, it has been more than a week since you have been outside the boat. Originally the boat had been scheduled to land in Vermillion, but security concerns led to a long delay, followed by this drop off in Celedon. You are given your visadex by a burly, older man and then let loose. The area around the dock seems to be a small market. You can see Celedon City nearby, apparently about a half an hour walk east of here.

Stepping out of the boat's cabin, Kage patiently waits, standing to the side of the funneling passengers and leaning against the wall, as the other passengers leave. He watches each of them. What they're doing. What they're NOT doing. Where they're going. Who they're going with. Everything. Itching for a good adrenaline rush he keeps an eye out for anyone who looks like they are traveling alone and look fairly weak. It's been a while since his last hold up, so he'll start small.

Also, how is my Pickup ability going to work? Every so often you'll tell me about something I find? Or will I actively be looking for items and I'll roll every so often?

You watch the other refugees leaving the boat and notice three that look promising. One is a girl of about 14 who looks super nervice and is glancing this way and that every moment and jumping at her shadow. Another is a kid around ten who looks like he is having the time of his life, and the last one is an older man who seems to have some back problems who is hobbling off the boat and towards the city. All three of them are travelling alone. #As far as pick up goes, remind me about it whenever its cool down is up and I'll incorporate it into one of the next few posts. I'm not going to be able to keep track of how frequently you can use it, but I'll make sure it fits in fairly smoothly.

Jealous of the small boy's happiness, Kage chooses him as his target. "Look at him, so happy. When I was his age I knew what the world could do to me. How dangerous it was. Time he learned too. I'll follow him for a while, learn his intentions, then corner him." His inner monologue seething with envy, he accepts his 'Dex and begins to stalk his prey. Stealth- 16074957993d6+3

You follow the boy as he heads up the path to the city, an annoying spring in the kids step making you more and more annoyed each time he walked. The kid seemed oblivious to your presense and stopped only once on the way to the city, to buy a handful of candy. Once inside the city, the boy soon makes the mistake of entering an out of the way alley. He is not cornered, but there is no one else around either.

Blood boiling, Kage continues to stalk his mark. Once in the alleyway, he sees no better chance than now. He sneaks up behind the kid and says, "Far away from home aren't ya kid? Gimme everything ya got and I'll let you go." He punches his hand and continues, "We don't want this to get messy, do we?"

The kid turns toward you and smiles. He rummages through his pockets and holds out around 200 pyen in coins. "I've got some candy as well, and you can have my coat if you are cold. I've only got my pokemon and the hat my mom knit me besides that and I can't give you those, though you can borrow the cap if you want."

Keeping his face as menacing as he can, Kage thinks to himself, "WHAT!? What is this kid doing? Doesn't he know I'm trying to rob him!? He's giving ME a HANDOUT!? Gah, I hate this kid!" He takes the 200 from the boy and scolds, "Get outta here kid!" In a huff Kage walks away, heading into the city.
Once inside of the city, he finds the busiest part of it and heads there to scope it out. He's looking for high society types.

The busiest part of the city turns out to be the mega shopping mall in the middle of town. The building is enormous, with shops of a variety you had never imagined. People stream into and out of its many doors and move all around within it. The place with the largest concentration of people is the food court. There are different areas of the mall for different people, and you notice a section of the store that sells cars and diamonds and such things fairly quick. Its not the most well traveled part but the high society types tend to stick around it, and don't mingle as much with the rest of the mall.

From various pockets throughout your journey upstairs you manage to snag one pokedex, and about 300 in cash. As you look around the upper area, you're eyes focus on an older gentleman who has an air of superiority that you do not like. He is quite rude to the staff of the shops and is disdainful of most of the other customers as well. You follow him outside, where he enters a ponyta drawn carriage. Thankfully for you, traffic is fairly heavy and you are able to follow the man to his destination, a large bank. He enters the bank and his carriage drives away.

Pocketing his new Pokédex and cash, he fiddles with the toothpick in his mouth(yeah he's THAT guy, lol). "Hmm, a pretty big bank, though I've taken down bigger. Though I'll need a team if I wanna take this thing down" his mind is racing with schemes, plans, and ideas. Hourly he can find some people with similarly unsavory motives as his. Kage Scopes or the whole place, taking a lap or two around it. He then takes note of the bank's location and heads away. The streets are fairly empty near the bank so you don't have any luck pickpocketing near it, but likewise, there is no one to notice your skulking. Wandering around the town, you try to get a handle on the criminal types in this town. They appear to be a lot harder to find than in your previous haunts, but eventually you manage to talk to someone who hooks you up with a fence. The woman introduces herself as One-eyed Isolde even though she seems to have two perfectly good eyes. She says she can buy most anything you have to sell, and can find most anything if you are looking to buy. "Considering you look to be new in town, I can give you a few connections. You and I never met if you ever get caught, and remember me kindly if you get a good score. If you keep both of those two ideas in your head, I can be a good friend to you. What sort of business are you looking to get into now? I can likely hook you up with a few people."

Kage smirks, "Isolde, I may not be a lawful man or have the best morals, but I consider myself to be honorable. Rule Number One is, "Never name anyone," and I abide by that. I've been burned more than once, so I under stand. As for what I'm doing here I'm looking for a group of associates with a like mind to do some high stakes jobs here in the city, possibly in neighboring cities, but I haven't made it there to scout. Who do you know?" Kage also mentions that he has a Pokedex to sell, if she's interested and is wondering what kind of discounts she can get him on evolutionary items, namely Razor Claw and Leaf Stones. Lastly, he asks where he can find some new partners, namely, Meowth, Scraggy, and Pawniard. (I know we're in Kanto, but it seems right to RP that Kage would know about the other pokemon, while she might not.)
Do I need rolls? Is this just simple RP?

"Give me a location and I'll get in touch with a few people and send them your way. Most of the folks I do business with like to introduce themselves instead of having there name thrown around. As far as occupations, I'll be sending you one or two second story artists, a few good conmen, some toughs and one guy known for his planning. How many will go along with your plan will be up to you, but I can at least get your foot in the door. As far as evolutionary items, I'll have to look into the Razor Claw, but I'll tell you now that the going rate for an illegally acquired leaf stone is 2500. They sell for 4000 legal in the mall though if you don't want to deal with potential problems of a hot stone. As far as pokemon go, running into a Meowth won't be too hard. There are more than a few in this very city, some of them quite skilled thieves. The other two are going to be more difficult. There are a few groups that sell pokemon in town, both legally and extra-legally. Most don't have many non-kanto pokemon, and the ones they do have are expensive. I'd say your best bet would be that new group, Team Rocket or something."
