Armo casts a guilty glare back to Thompson. He was thinking the same thing, and his gaze urged Thompson not to mention the point any further.

You guys are pretty much all healed up and rested and such so your ready to do whatever you want in town or ask the nurse any questions or head back to the forest to check on the Raichu or do whatever. The nurse basically just wanted to thank you for your help and explain the current situation to you.

As soon as the nurse is gone, Armo jets over to Thompson's side. "The Raichu. We must get him out of forest. No one should go through bug swarm again." He was oddly stern and serious about this.

Thompson looked to Armo and nodded. He had the same plan. "I'd like to not force him away...but he can't stay there. If the bugs don't get him, the rangers will. And we need to get out of here."
He got out of bed and gathered his things ready to head into the forces.

The two of you head out of town and towards the forest. You pass by the area that you had done battle the previous night, and see a lot of dead caterpie and weedle lying in the sun. Flocks of spearow and pidgey munched on the dead bugs. Once you get into the forest proper, you begin your search for the Raichu. Perception please.

The two of you search the forest for the Raichu. You find several different areas where a circle of bug pokemon corpses lie, as though they had been trying to surround something but had been shocked to death before they could. Unfortunately you do not find the Raichu.

Thompson looked around frantically and sighed before looking to Ace. "We have to find the Raichu. Can you help us track him down, Ace?"
Thompson then goes to the last place that they found the Raichu and began searching for tracks or anything.

Armo holds out the ball with his Kakuna. "If this bug is like others that attacked..." he hesitantly opens the ball containing his bug, hoping his Kakuna's feral rage has subsided.

When Armo opens the ball containing Kakuna, it is back to its usual calm, collected self. Meanwhile Thompson is trying to track the Raichu. The tracking goes well for a while, but eventually the Raichu's ability to jump from tree to tree leads the trail to a dead end. The tree based travel also serves to keep the scent out of an area that Ace can detect, leading him to occasionally find small trails on the ground but not be able to track the Raichu very far at all. In the search for the Raichu however you eventually spot a pikachu for a brief moment before it flees into the woods in terror of being spotted.

Wanting to get to the bottom of this whole ordeal, Armo beckons to the fleeing Pikachu. "Stop now, little Pikachu!"

Thompson lifted his head quickly and readied himself to chase the Pikachu should it keep running after Armo's call.

The Pikachu freezes where it stands when Armo shouts. Thompson dashes toward it, but trip over a tree and tumbles right in front of the creature. The fall does 239022811d8+5 normal physical damage. The Pikachu breaks from its stunned trance but instead of fleeing, it begins to roll on the ground laughing. Thompson gets up and the Pikachu eventually stops laughing but seems a lot less afraid of both of you.

Thompson pushed himself up and brushed himself off a little. The laughing Pikachu was a little alarming but he relaxed a little bit.
"Hey, big guy. I was wondering if you knew where the other Chu that was hanging around here went? The other seemed a bit scarred up. We helped him before, but we are looking for him now."
