He'll have the bugs push them, if not then he'll just wait for Kate to wake then continue on.

Considering how steep the hill is, you expect it will likely be faster to wait for her to wake up. As you are waiting, you spot a woman in a bright red coat running up the hill. When she sees you and the bikes she stops and says, "Hello, my name is Janice Hennings. I am a ranger and I must commandeer one of these bikes. I have urgent news that must be delivered to Saffron. Fuschia City has been attacked!" She holds up an official looking ID when she says she is a ranger. She pauses and looks at Kate. "Is she alright?"

Mike looks slightly stunned at her sudden appearance, but responds, "No not really. We were attacked by cyclist thugs and she was knocked unconscious. You can have the bike if you need it, but the thugs' bikes are right over there. They don't need 'em."

The lady looks at Kate and then turns away with a pained expression. "I'm sorry I can't stay to help, I have to keep moving. I'll take the other bikes." She runs over to the discarded bikes of the thugs and begins cycling away. As she does so, she shouts, "If I see someone up ahead, I'll let them know that you have an injured friend." With that said, she cycles off into the distance. After a few more minutes of climbing the hill, you hear the sound of motors, and a moment later about six big tough looking guys on motorcycles drive around and stop in a circle around you. One of them, a guy that must be more than 300 lbs, with bright blonde hair says, "What seems to be going on here? We heard someone was hurt? You have anything to do with this?"

"This is my friend Kate. We were attacked by some cyclists for not joining their gang. We are headed to Celadon to see Erika."

"Well hop on." The leader motions to a side car on his motorcycle. "If someone is hurt we will help get her to a hospital as fast as possible."

Mike agrees, worried for Kate more than himself. Mike subtly motions to Pinsir and Scyther to follow. Mike collects Kate's Venonat, as well.

#OK, so it is february and I want to bump up the scale of the game and also begin to mesh the different plots together. Currently you are two or three days behind most of the other plot lines, and I would like to catch you up. Because of the current goings on in some of the other players games, I would prefer it if your character did not arrive in Celedon until the end of those two or three days. My current idea is that you have a kinda crazy adventure with the biker people that I just kinda describe, then I'll throw some xp at you and plunk you down in Celedon two or three days in the future. Is that an OK solution for you, or is losing player agency for a sidequest something you don't want to happen?

You get into the side car and Kate is set in another side car. The motorcycle gang heads north driving at top speeds. After a short period of time, a storm seems to come up out of nowhere. Heavy rain makes it impossible to tell where anyone is and you lose sight of all of the other motorcyclists and Kate. The motorcycle driver you are with keeps on trying to go north, but he has lost track of which way that is in all the rain and wind, and you guys end up finding yourselves west instead, on the coast. The storm is just too strong and you are forced to hide in a cave in order to keep from freezing. The cave turns out to be home to a family of very aggessive Krabby that you and the biker are forced to fight. With them defeated you fall asleep in the cave, worrying about Kate and about getting the red plant samples to Erica in time. The next day, the storm has subsided to some extent. The dude's motorcycle however seems to have been destroyed utterly by some sort of huge pokemon. You and he travel together, looking for other cyclysts, kate and whatever it was that broke the dude's motorcycle. You find different members of his crew in various weird situations, help them out and grow your party size. Eventually you find the location of Kate, and the remaining crew members, as well as what presumably crushed the guys bike. The cause of all of these things is an enormous Nidoking, easily ten or fifteen feet tall. It has several of the crew as well as Kate tied up and seems to be making some stew to eat them in. You and the biker crew come up with a plan to fight it. You wait till night and then trick it into leaving camp, free all the folks that were captured and then fight it together. It is a tough battle and a couple of the bikers are badly injured, and one is eaten by the enormous Nidoking, but at last you all fell the beast. Everyone decided the best thing to do is to turn the tables, and you all have a wonderful Nidoking stew that night before walking north, carrying giant nidoking armor in the morning. You get in a scrap with the other bike gang, but defeat them easily after the battle the previous night. You make it to the north end of cycling road. Kate had largely recovered while she had been tied up, so you were no longer in a huge hurry, so the bikers wave you goodbye and you leave the cycling road and go east. Soon you are standing outside Celedon, with several pieces of giant nidoking armor strapped to your back. You gained 2 trainer levels from the experiance, and you have 400 xp to distribute amongst your pokemon however you please. You also reunite with the scyther and pinser who had also gotten lost in the storm and had had their own side adventure involving a wandering samurai and twelves sisters who could not decide which of them ought to marry the man.

#So, my Caterpie is at lvl 10, can it be a Butterfree now? lol It's been at evolving range for a while, ^_^. Also, Paras came at level 20(evolving range), can it be a Parasect?
#Seeing as the end of the game is nearing I took Mentor to beef up my Pokémon and at next level(which is only three xp away), I'll be taking inspired growth. Just a heads up.
After a crazy few days, bruises, scars, and back breaking cargo, Mike drops the armor on the ground and plops down. Breathing heavily and letting out a big sigh of relief, he says, "We finally made it. Kate, do you know where to go from here?" Mike checks his map in case Kate doesn't know where the Gym is. They head there straight away with an urgency in their step.

#Yeah, go ahead and assume they both evolved during the battle with the nidoking Kate does not know exactly where it is, but with a bit of help from the pokedex map, and a few friendly locals, you find your way to the gym. It is situated square in the bad part of town, but the gardens around it and the general feel of the place seem to exude a sense of calm and serenity that changes the feel of that part of town for the better. When you step inside the gym, the receptionist looks at the armor plates you have a bit warily and asks your business. You explain the basics of it and that you need to contact Erica and get her help identifying a strange plant. The receptionist explains that Erica is currently in the middle of a different investigation, but says that she might be able to give the red plant a look, especially if it as dangerous as you make it out to be. She sends a call down to Erica's lab, telling her that she has visitors. While you wait for Erica to come up, the receptionist looks at the armor plates and raises an eyebrow. "Story behind that?"

#I just realized that having those Pokémon evolve, puts me at my next level thanks to 'dex xp. Which in turn gives me INspired Growth, which puts my Shelmet and Karrablast in evolution range. Can I evolve them? How long would that Extended Action take?
Mike thanks the receptionist and sits down, letting the pack of armor thud on the ground next to him. Noticing that the noise piqued her interest he explains jokingly, "Oh ya know, just a normal day. Giant Nido royalty, stew pots, bikers... Long story short, the Nidoking captured Kate, here, along with a bunch of other missing persons for a large banquet. Some of the Bikers from Cycling road helped me rescue her, but the Nidoking was slain in the process, regrettably. Making the best of a bad situation, we decided to use the monster's hide as armor so as to protect rather than hurt and therefore his death would not be in vain."
