Armo shakes a bit at the sight of the battle, and nods. "I do not wish to gain wrath of tough Pokemon, yes?"

"Yeah...let's get out of this cave and find a place to rest so we can get to that Chu and help him out." Thompson begins to walk towards the exit to the gave, where they had entered teh first time.

As you pass through the room with the crazy battle, neither combatant so much as looks at you, so focused on the battle are they. Just when you are about to exit the room though the purple haired person speaks to you. "Go ahead and take one of our lanters with you, we have spares." Whether you take the lantern or not, you continue on through the cave. You ended up taking a slightly different route this time, so as to avoid the river that ran across the cave, so you are not entirely sure where you are, but your pretty sure you are going the correct way. Roll Perception and Survival to see if you find anything cool in the cave.

The rest of the journey through the cave system is of no particular note, Thompson leading the way expertly, and soon enough you are outside. Its gotten pretty dark, but the pokemon center where you fought the two nurses is right next to the exit and you soon find beds to sleep in. You sleep alright, with a few loud noises from a neighbor playing video games in their room keeping you up, but otherwise fine. It is the morning, and Pewter is about a half an hour walk from the pokemon center.

Armo leads the charge to Pewter, Poliwag at his side. "Let us hurry, we cannot keep the Pikachu waiting forever!"

Thompson walks with Armo, his pace a little slower allowing his Slowpoke to keep pace. "I agree. However, some of our team is slower than others, so we much account for that."

The two of you move west to pewter and then south out of town and towards the forest. Once more you pass by the red coated man in his hammock. You head back toward where the pikachu had shown you its nest, but nothing is there, the nest is completely gone.

Thompson glances around for the pikachu, even going so far as to try to find any tracks that it might have left.

"Huh. I believe this is what you would call 'not happy twist', yes?" Armo attempts to search for anything that would lead to an answer here...

The two of you attempt to track the pikachu quite skillfully. Thompson manages to find some tracks and follow them for quite a ways before they seem to disappear. Armo at that point spots a place where the pikachu might have taken its movement into the trees and soon enough you are following it based on bent branches and little claw marks on the side of the trees. For hours the two of you move through the woods looking for the Pikachu. You pass by many drugged looking insects of various kinds, but eventually reach the end of your trek. You track the pikachu to a small hollow in a small tree, miles from its previous habitat. The creature appears to have more cuts and bruises then it did before, and is sleeping restlessly in said hollow.

After tracking down the Pikachu, Thompson felt relieved that he was alright for the most part. The restless sleep bothered him slightly and he wondered whether or not he should wake the pokemon. "Do we let him sleep, Armo, or do we wake him?"

"Well, we came all this way, so we might as well, yes?" Armo pulls out a Potion and Thunderstone, and draws close to the Pikachu...

Thompson carefully watches Armo slowly, hoping that the Pikachu would remember us and not turn hostile.
