Alyssa: You manage to track the pokemon, and continue to follow it for a while. Eventually it rests again and you catch up to it in another clearing. Its clear this pokemon is young, as its not really paying attention and has its eyes clothes as it rests.
Cassandra: Both attacks seem like they work reasonably effectively at knocking a few tentacles out of the way, but there are simply so many more that it does not seem like that tactic is going to save you in time. You might be able to drill a hole through small enough for one of your pokemon to make it out, but not you or lorelie. Lorelie is trying something similar, with more power, but a similar effect. "Alright, I'm going to try something a bit dangerous. I don't particularly want us to die here, so I'm going to try and talk. I've heard that tentacruel can control people with there tentacles under the right conditions. In a moment I will be speaking for the Tentacruel. Say what you can to have them let us go." With that she grabs one of the tentacles that make up the wall around you, and wraps it around her head. Her eyes glow red and she speaks in an emotionless voice. "Prepare for death mortal."
Vera: "I appreciate it Ma'am. This town has never had many problems until recently, and now we just don't have the manpower to deal with all these new problems." He drops you off at the hotel and you head upstairs to your comfortable room. Assuming you head to bed, you sleep well, though you have a few troubling dreams about giant vulpixs.

Vera wakes up shaking slightly, and ends up releasing Sam to snuggle with her. The next morning, after her regular grooming session for all her Pokemon, she pulls some scented perfumes out of her bag and gets to work. (Spending 2 AP to make 1 Luck and 1 Lax Incense) After a while, she thinks she's figured out the proper scent. She sprays the slightly spicy one (Luck) on Hector, and the sweet one (Lax) on Sam. After thinking for a while, she sits down with Vulpix and Growlithe.
"Well...I haven't really given you names yet, since after all this is still a trial for you. But I'm thinking...I think we've worked together well. So...I guess I'm asking if you want to make this official? Because it's also going to get dangerous for us..."

Alyssa decided to just try to catch the pichu she realizes she doesn't have any Basic Poke Balls to spare but she rummages through her backpack and finds a ultra ball it should definitely improve the chances of the pichu being caught

Vera: #Yeah, retraining is fine.
The two pokemon look at you and at each other, and then turn back and nod. Then they both lick your face. It seems like they are in.
Alyssa: The ball shakes once, it shakes twice, it shakes a third time, and then it goes still. The Pichu has been captured. #The Pichu is different enough from a normal Pichu that I am not going to give you stats and stuff about it until you find out more about it.
Cassandra: In a voice that you would swear would have come out of a bad horror movie, the mind controlled Lorelie speaks, "Once that was true, but we have been driven from our homes. We only fight in order to flee from the great decimeter. If we stay then we will die."

"Great!" exclaims Vera, scooping both of them up into a hug. She does release the entire team then, introducing them to the new companions. Jess is happy to zoom around them, squeaking happily, while Sam seems unsure of what to think about them, as they about him. Hector looks unimpressed at first, but seems to accept them at least. "As for names...how about Tara and Trent?" she asks Vulpix and Growlithe respectively. If they accept, she starts rooting around in her bag again. She carefully applies some makeup to her face, making her expression seem a bit more wide-eyed and innocent. (Using Stylish Makeover on myself to increase Guile and lower Charm)
"Hopefully this'll work..." she says, before heading down to the hotel lobby.
(Did she get contact info from the policeman? If so, she'll call him.)

Alyssa decided to take the pichu too the pokemon center to see if Nurse Joy could explain or even tell her where to go too find out why this Pichu was so different too other ones

"Decimeter? What are you talking about? If it is an enemy then we could team up to take it out. It sounds like it is a problem for all of us." Cassandra shudders involuntarily as she thinks about an enemy these Tentacruel would flee from.

Vera: "Hello, Celdon City Police Department, how can we help you?"
Alyssa: You take the Pichu to the nearest center, and show it to the nurse. She says she has never seen anything like it, but says she will run some tests. She mentions that there have been a lot of weird pokemon with strange mutations recently, and she says she has heard about a research facility that is experimenting on pokemon.
Cassandra: "You would fight the decimater? Your people are both brave and foolish. Still, if you would try, we will be willing to wait at your shores and not attack your cities yet. The braver amongst us will help you fight. Go then and assemble your army." The tentacles release Lorelie, and the roof of tentacles starts breaking apart. "What did he say?" asks Lorelie.

Alyssa was slightly intrigued but horrified at the same time she had heard vague rumours of pokemon which were made by humans but too experiment on pokemon was another thing entirely while waiting for the nurse too complete the tests she goes out too the training arena out the back and starts Altana and Lightning to spar off so Altana can learn how to evade and counter electric types. but something seemed to be wrong both of them had way too much energy and kept on countering and dodging each others attacks until she realized they were glowing she realized they were evolving. after about a minute both of them looked stronger and a bit more cunning in there eyes. After that she goes back in and waits for the nurse to reappear to question her a bit more.

"Oh, just that they are fleeing from a terrifying monster they call the Decimater. I volunteered you and I to help them fight the thing and they agreed not to attack any of our cities and stop at the shoreline." Cassandra watches her to see how Lorelei reacts to her decision.

"Um...I got a lift from one of your officers last night while fleeing the giant Raticate, and I said I had a potential lead on that." If necessary, Vera repeats her story about the woman and the red trees.

Alyssa: The nurse comes back and says, "I've done a few basic tests, but the change is nearly total, there is very little left in the creature that is natural. I have sent the data I have gathered to a few experts around Kanto. Hopefully they can tell us more. For now I think it is best if we keep the creature sedated. Based on some of the readings, I think the little creature might be damaging itself with its own electrical charge."
Cassandra: Lorelie simply nods at the news. "Makes sense. Tentacruel are protective of their own land, but do not try to take over more land without good. Guess its time to find out about our new foe then." You guys are pulled back into the helicopter, and after Lorelie does some calculation around the Tentacruels movement pattern, she sets a new course and you begin moving out. With that done Lorelie comes into the back and sits down next to you. "Alright, back to training. Tell me what you have thought about what we have been doing so far, how you think it could have gone better, what caused us to get caught by the tentacruel, etc."
Vera: "Oh, of course. We'll send a squad car down right away." A few minutes later you are picked up outside the hotel by the same cop from last night and another cop. The first cop speaks, "OK, so we have a warrant to search the place. We'll be checking the place out. Try and look for anything suspicious, and we'll make sure to get a sample of the red trees you spoke about. With any luck we'll find something damning and be able to lock this lady up. Anything you remember that we should keep in mind before we head in?"

"Well, I know she has several bodyguards. But...I was thinking I could approach her first, since I didn't actually suspect anything when I first met her, so she'll probably be less suspicious of me. I might be able to distract her a bit before you move in."

Alyssa was horrified when she heard it was damaging itself how could someone be so callous as too just release it too die she had to calm down enough to ask have there been. "is there anyone i can talk too about Helping track down the things responsible for doing this. and would it be possible for the Pichu to stay here if not ill look for a place for it too stay."
