The fact that he can't end the effect makes him have to be very careful about what he uses it on. If he starts an everburning fire its going to be really difficult to stop from simply burning the world down. There aren't any levels to his ability, it simply makes the thing supremely good at what it already does.
Bio: Hospitalar Jackson was born in Edmonton, Alberta on January 29th 1985 to Kenneth Jackson and Maria Thistle Jackson. While he was born in Canada he was still considered a US citizen because both Ken and Maria were American Citizens who had decided to go to the University of Alberta. Ken was there for Med School and Maria was there because she was interested in the Nanotechnology research being done their. Hospitalar lived in Edmonton from his birth until April 3rd 1997 when Ken divorced his wife and moved to San Diago with his son. Hospitalar visited his mother on holidays and spent summer vacation with her as well. It was during one of these summer vacations that Hospitalar started to realize that he had some sort of unusual ability. Hospitalar and his mother were hiking together around Lake Athabasca when an unfortunate fall left his mother unconscious with a broken leg. Now Hospitalar had been in the boy scouts and was not totally unprepared for the situation, but he was still a 13 year old boy lost in the wilderness with an injured mother. He made a splint for his mother and then made himself a map, as that was something that his scout leader had told him to do when he was lost. "Try and remember where landmarks were and make yourself a map." So he drew himself a map and he followed it. Instead of leading him back to civilization as he had planned the map lead him to a fellow Hiker who just so happened to have a Satellite Telephone and have taken some EMT training recently. The man saw Maria, realized the potential dangers she could be in and called in a helicopter immediately. Hospitalar's mother was saved and Hospitalar himself was praised for both his quick thinking and his unusually effective splint. His mother's leg had been fractured into six distinct pieces, but somehow the small bit of stick and few feet of rope that Hospitalar had tied together had been able to hold all of the pieces in exactly the right place. The doctor's dismissed this as luck, but Hospitalar was less sure. He was either extremely lucky or something weird was going on. During High School Hospitalar excelled. He was the captain of the high school soccer team and got A's in all his classes but health and math. In his rare bit of free time he read a lot and in his rarer bits of free time away from any prying eyes he experimented with this power he thought he had. At first he thought that he was just incredibly lucky, but through a bit of experimentation and a notable incident involving almost burning the world into ash he figured out the nature and limits of his abilities. By the time Hospitalar graduated from High School he had all but mastered them. Hospitalar's parents were both fairly well off, his father a Family Doctor in San Francisco and his mother a professor at the University of Alberta so he didn't really have to worry about paying for college, but in order to prove to himself that he could Hospitalar insisted on paying for the first year himself. As such he went to the relatively inexpensive Montana State University. He switched the following year when his parents started to pay for things, but he had several notable adventures with a particularly pyromaniacal roommate. Hospitalar moved to Alaska for his second and third year in college. Then spent a year studying abroad in Germany. He moved back to Alaska after hitchhiking though Europe for a summer and then graduated the next year. It was during year in Germany that he met Anastasia Alekseev another exchange student from Russia. The two hit it off splendidly having the same major and many of the same interests. It was with Anastasia that Hospitalar toured Europe and with her that he first fell in love. Both were unhappy that they could not stay together, but both wanted to finish their degrees and had to return to their respective countries. Through the magic of the internet and long distance telephone calls they were able to stay in touch and kept up their relationship. After he graduated Hospialar planned to move to Russia to be with his girlfriend, but his father was opposed to the idea and managed to convince him to stay in the states. Anastasia graduated from her college a year later and then planned to move to the US, but she was offered a job too good to refuse and decided to stay in Russia. Both of them vowed to get together as soon as they managed to make something of themselves and so their lives went on. Hospitalar's life after college was not as easy or nice as his time in it had been. He found himself bouncing between jobs, unable to keep himself motivated enough to stay in the same town and work in the same job. His life was at a low point when in 2010 he found himself working as a bouncer for a local bar. As if life had it in for him, it was the same month that he started working at the bar that Anastasia called him up and told him that she had found someone else. The two agreed to remain friends but their was a fair amount of bitterness on Hospitalar's side and they have done little but send each other a few short emails since the separation. This set back was perhaps something that Hospitalar needed however as he used his disappointment as fuel to force himself to quit his bouncer job and find some work in the postal service. The Substitute Mailman job that he managed to get was wonderful for Hospitalar. It priovided him a chance to travel and because he never had to stay in the same place very long he didn't get board of it either. In the tumultuous years since his graduation Hospitalar had rarely used or even though about his "power." Sometimes it felt like a dream he had had and occasionally he almost convinced himself he had made the whole thing up. With the renewed vigor that his new job gave him Hospitalar started making new progress on finding unique ways to use his power. After discovering that his power extended to even somewhat strange uses of the word "make" Hospitalar had a goal. He was going to make history. Then he was going to make it perfect.

So, its a bit long and as such I may find myself with 0 suck points because of the shear number of sentences. I did read that you wanted to make the limitations for the power but I had a cool idea so I went with it, feel free to add more restrictions or whatever if you want. I'll make his equipment list once I know how many suck points I have to spend.
