Zashi rises at the command of the council. "Thank you, wise elders. I am humbled by your words. The companion I seek is one I can learn from and one I can teach. My current companions and I seek knowledge, spiritual balance, and strength." After the council's response, Zashi asks, "If I may ask, who is the "Steel Defender?"

Enzuna: The monkey takes the hit and laughs, "You really know your weaknesses it seems. Few can hold to their plan and position when assualted in so many different ways. I concede the battle, please proceed along the pass." The monkey laughs again and scampers down the side of one of the large poles. Once he vanishes, the poles begin to rumble and soon enough a path of poles leads from your current position to the next spot along the path. You see the reason for the monkeys leaving laughter in this. Even though you did not have to move to win the battle, you would still have to cross the poles to take advantage of the victory.
Zashi: "The steel defender is our name for the one that you travel with. He is truly a living legend and earned the respect of the dragons long, long ago." There is a hush and then voices speak as one again. "It seems that your companion has passed his final trial. He should arrive at this council momentarily."
#Alright, so I am back and can once again work on the game. I'm not really sure how long the actual puzzle making step will take, so expect the game anywhere from tomorrow to saturday or sunday.

"Wonderful. I hope he fared well. May I ask, where is the Steel Defender? We haven't seen him since we parted ways down below."
((Welcome back! In regards to the game, take your time. If you want to just RP the puzzle that's fine. I don't want the production of the game to hinder anyone's timeline.))

Zashi: "He is teaching some our young ones. It is rare for him to be on our island and we must take advantage of it as best we can. He is wise and powerful and has much to teach dragons of all ages."

"What is it he has to teach? He is a human, I don't understand what humans like us could offer such powerful beings such as yourselves."

Enzuna looks nervously. Damn. He wouldn't be able to use Onix for this bridge...
With a deep breath, he attempts to very carefully cross the path.

Enzuna: You manage to make it across the poles, making a few jumps, crawling a few times and barely making the last jump. Once you make it across, the path goes onward and upward. You climb for a decent bit of time and make it to the top of the mountain. You see several large fully evolved dragons and Zashi standing and talking at the top.
Zashi: "If he has not seen fit to tell you then we will not spoil the secret, but let it be known that the eyes do not always tell the truth." The Hydreigon kinda chuckles after they say this.
Both: One Enzuna shows up, the dragons say the following. "Each of you have earned the right to select a type of dragon you would like to work with. We will then select the individual within that species that we think will mesh with your personality the best."

Zashi hears Enzuna enter his mind once he gets back into range and congratulates his partner on his success. Zashi then speaks out, "I would gladly accept a member of the Axew line."
#Or the Noibat Line if 6th gen is allowed and Enzuna doesn't want one. AS a Dragon Aura Guardian, he gets first dibbs on choice ^_~

Enzuna bows to the council of dragons, finally meeting the mythical creatures of the world who's aura's aligned with his.
"Thank you for meeting with us. It is my honor to meet the beings who's power I have been emulating all this time. I would wish to work with a creature of the Hydreigon line."
Edit: And speaking of Dragon aura guardian, when the next patch hits aura guardians won't actually be non-fighting. Would it be better for me to just revamp my character with the new patch (and probably just be a dragon elementalist/mix?)

#Once the next edition comes out, you will be free to remake your character in whatever way best fits the idea of your character for the new rules. Its up to you how exactly you want to implement it. Also, I am down for Noibat. Just use base stats/10 for the ptu base stats, and the move list from bulbapedia. Take whatever ability Noibats have naturally for your ability, and their second one as the advanced ability. Try to refain from using any gen 6 moves until the next patch at which point just remake it correctly for the new system.
The dragon elder's nod at your choices. "We will begin to speak with our youngsters and find you the appropriate companions. For now, please continue past us to meet back up with the Iron Defender and enter the vaults in order to secure the artifact you seek." The dragons part and you can see that the path extends past them. Assuming you guys follow it, you soon find yourselves in a giant open space, where the old man greets you and asks the two of you about the trials and such.

#I've been using Kaorin Sakura's Gen 6 homebrew as my go to resource for now, if that's okay. Fortunately, Noibat doesn't have any gen 6 moves, though.
Zashi explains his trial. He explains how it was like he was in a video game (;p). Zashi then asks, "Iron Defender, if I may call you that, what is it you haev done here to give you such a reputation?"

Enzuna is still attempting to take everything in, and gazes around at the giant building. "I had to duel a talking Aipom on stilts. I was not able to cause it to lose balance, and it could not land a hit on me, so eventually it caved and let me progress."
<Sorry I've been sporadic again, I've got a test every day this week so I've been pretty swamped!>

#No problem, I've been a bit sporadic myself lately and I don't even have school as an excuse. Speaking of excuses, I will once again have to push the game back another week, because I am once more on vacation and without access to a computer on which I can code. This time I will be visiting the far off land of California.
The old man smiles, "Gave me away did they? Well its not so much what I have done as much as who I am." The man transforms, and you see the legendary pokemon Cobalion standing before you. "I try and keep my true nature on the down low most of the time, when I am not actively combating the forces of evil. It lets me act with a bit more discretion."

((Lol, no problem, man.))
"They didn't so much give you away as they hinted at your involvement." Zashi then immediately bows, saying, "It is an honor to be in your prescence." After talking for a moment, Zashi adds, "If I may ask, what involvement does a Steel/Fighting God have with a Ghost adversary?"

"I suppose now that you have passed the first part of your quest, you deserve something of an explanation. Perhaps I should have been more open from the beginning, but as you grow old, you begin to trust more in secrets and less in others. I will give you the short version and you can ask questions about any parts that you have questions about." At this point the legendary pokemon begins to weave a tale, and somehow, you can almost see the events happening even as he tells of them. "My two brothers and I have always been guardians of justice. We have defended the weak from the strong and the meek from the cruel. In ancient days many horrors existed that are no longer seen in these days because we, or others like us took it upon ourselves to rid the world of their evil, either destroying or locking away much of the evil that once infected the world. One of our most dangerous foes was a Spiritomb, in fact the first and most powerful of his kind. His goals were not direct for he was made from 108 different spirits with different goals, but it was obvious that the end result would be catastrophic no matter what he decided to do in the end. So it was that me and my brothers banded together and defeated him. Because of his nature as a spirit however, defeat simply took away his power for a while, and eventually he was reborn in a new form. Again and again he reformed, and again and again we defeated him. In fact, we were growing in power and he was not, so the defeats came quicker and quicker and his losses more and more decisive. Because of this, and because he was a tenacious sort of evil, that was willing to adapt and change and do what it could to win, this creature enacted a change upon himself. He shattered his being into 108 different souls, each individually weaker, but each with the capacity to learn and grow, and each potentially able to reform into the one whole in the future. This was a brilliant move on the creatures part. We would spend all our time fighting different parts of his whole, meanwhile many others would have time to plot and grow stronger, while we were too busy stamping out his evil to focus on increasing our own power. And so we too had to adapt. We began to call upon the aide of mortal and pokemon protectors that we trusted. We gave them the power and wisdom it would take to combat these spirits without our direct help, enabling us to fight all of them at once and keep each one's power in check. It was of course not a perfect solution, and the tide of the battle has turned this way and that over the years. The current battlefield is Kanto. Several of the stronger spirits have all come out of dormancy at the same time, just at the right time when my brothers and I will have a difficult time combating them directly. One of those spirits is the leader of the ghosts. Several more powerful spirits are also acting in Kanto and it will soon be a dangerous place. That is why I need you, and the dragons and the fire in order to combat these spirits."
