"This robot and this man are becoming more trouble than they are worth....." Lee thinks, exhaling and rubbing his forehead with his fingers. "We'll just have to see how this pans out tomorrow, hopefully these rocket boys can deliver. Lee yawns, "I wonder how good the beds are at this base?" Lee wonders as he heads back to base to find some place to sleep.

It turns out that the beds are pretty decent. A bit hard, but the pillows are quite fluffy. You have an alright night, your sleep troubled only by a few scattered dreams of giant roombas cutting you into pieces. You wake in the morning and find your four rockets waiting for orders.

Lee whips the sleep from his eyes and yawns. Going through his average daily routine, he (exits the sleeping quarters?) and finds John and his team of landscapers. "Ahh good your all here! We won't be meeting with the old coot till noon, so lets try to show up by 11:50. In the mean time... lets grab some coffee, you do have coffee here correct?" Lee says raising an eyebrow. (wherever they end up heading) "Alright, i've laid out a basic structure here, but I'm wondering if you four have any ideas?"

The rocket hq has a well stocked coffee room with a large variety of flavors. John gets himself an extremely large cup of hot cocoa, one of the other rockets gets a cup of green tea, one gets pretty normal black coffee and the last gets an espresso with about 8 shots in it. As you all sit and drink John says, "If we are going to do any serious landscaping their are some things we will need. If we can get a hold of some chainsaws, some lawnmowers and a bulldozer that would be great. Until we can get that stuff we are not much more than glorified gardeners. Though that will be good for a while so I can teach the rest of these guys the ropes."

Lee taks a swig of coffee, nodding after swallowing. "Of corse of corse, I'll talk to Eddie and get it done for you guys. Before I forget, bring pokemon with you to the route. The ol' coot has been having a problem with annoying pokemon on the route, if we can help with that problem too it'll make this first job go all the smoother."
(not sure what time it is, if its pretty early still I will go and talk to Eddie about the wish list from John, and potentially some pokemon for the team if they do not have any of their own.)

Its about 9am. The rockets do indeed have pokemon. When you talk to Eddie, he nods his head. "Makes sense. Hadn't really though about everything that goes into landscaping. Still, I don't know the first thing about landscaping so I should not be the one to purchase this stuff. Take this Rocket Charge card to John and tell him to charge anything he needs for the start up to this card."

Lee nods, "Will do, will do."
If there isnt anything else Lee returns to the FTL staff and gives them the charge card, then he will spend some time training with Golett and shroomish (i'll crunch the number later) and will most likely just wait till noon to take the team to go meet the ol' man)

The time passes easily, and soon it is noon. You and your crew head down to the route. John has apparently already managed to get a couple of chain saws purchased and the team lugs them along as well. When you get there the old man answers the door and looks over the group. He quizzes them on a few things and John answers quickly and easily. He nods and says, "Alright, you folks are hired. Pay will be pending until the route is complete, but its pretty decent for this sort of work, about 50 pyen an hour per person. I have revised the plans I originally had to fit the way that the robot lawn mower does buisness. Basically each one meter square will be its own separate terrain. There will only be a few building blocks, ie basic shapes that I will ask you to learn, and the rest is just reading off this map and converting the appropriate areas into what they are supposed to be." The man begins to demonstrate several of the basic patterns the the route is going to be made up of, short grass, tall grass, tree etc.

"It appears with this plan (I think?) that we will be able to work and allow the route to remain open? Thats good I was concerned about us having to close the route, not that its a large concern if we have to." ... "Alright, well John is a good man, he'll do excellent work with you and you can simply deal with him at this point," Lee says with a smile. "I only ask that you include them in the credit roll, their good men coming out of a bad situation and they could use the business."
After the meeting with the man Lee will head on back to base, talk to John later tonight and then let FTL run its corse on its own before checking in again. Lee will check around the base, listening in on conversations, and eventually meeting with Eddie to see what else is new around the base. Intuition 14698111893d6+2 Perception 3d6+2

"Yeah, most of the route will be open at any given time. I could not even get the job from the league if we had to close the route down. They are super opposed to that kinda stuff." The rockets get to work and you head out pretty soon. #OK, so how interested are you in trying to recruit other players to Team Rocket? If you want to start trying to do that, we can just fast forward a couple days, with Eddie telling you to keep an eye on the FTL work and stuff until it starts getting going. I think you are around two days behind the folks from the second boat, maybe three.

#I'm just really bad at giving out trainer xp in pbp games because there are not really many good stopping points. I would say that setting up FTL counts as a milestone though, so lets just say you get a level for the last few weeks of the game. Plus, since you are skipping two or three days, feel free to give your pokemon xp as though you had used the days for training. With that, time skip time.
Its early morning the morning after the new folks just arrived on the boats. This will be FTL's final day working on the route, they will be finished as of tomorrow. Eddie calls you into the office and tells you that there are a bunch of new folks who just got off the folks and thus plenty of new possible recruits. He asks you to go out and see if any of the new folks in town might be interested in joining the time honored tradition of thievery.

"Alright boss" Lee gives a sloppy salute. "Are we looking only for thieves and thugs? Or are we extending our palette to people of others skills who we could convince to join more legal measures, breeding centers, science teams, what ever I can find.?"
"Sounds god, but before I go, I'm going to need some supplies" (black suit, white under shirt, nicer shoes, and what ever I can use to give myself more of a hunched back and wrinkled face, and of corse a cane.. My hair will be gray/ balding, and I will have a big, gray mustache, and squinted eyes (I do now have the shape shift ability so that will help.) Im going to be using the voice of the old man from saffron (which I'm assuming is just your normal old man voice, and not like a boston gangster old man voice. "Lets write a story shall we? I'll play the roll of a wealthy in town business owner, looking to help establish people in places to earn return for our mega-conglamorate company in Johto. Lets call it.... North Star Enterprises? I don't know, you could help with the name. For those of our new friends who are taking the shadier route I can just tell them to meet at our rendezvous... where should I have them meet by the way?"
Lee then heads off to the pokemon center on his way to the docks, with Shroomish out in toe. "Alright buddy, you're name this time will be Bulby, lay on the charm and lets go ahead and see who we can sucker" Lee says with a big grin.
Lee will keep an eye out for shady characters, as well as anyone who looks interesting.... or gullible enough to talk to.

#Sorry, I got around to yours last, and then I realized that I needed to incorporate you into one of the celedon folks' stories which I did not do today. I'll post for you tomorrow when I post for them. Any particular character you want to try and convince?

i read over most of the getting off the boat guys and gals, and i think i can possibly spin it with any of them. And some could be really fun (if the electric bird is zapdos i think the rockets would love some help finding it. But theres the whole thing with lichlord knowing me.... but that could make it fun! Unless Mileva is there too....." You know where people are, so just let me know who I'm approaching and i'll let you know what Mr. Narubi (working name unless Eddie has a preference.) will say
