Lea didn't seem to notice the canceled helping hand as she was too busy working up some courage to start walking through the diglets. After you and she start walking she seems to calm down a bit though and the walk is not bad. The cave is even larger than you had first imagined and there are crystals in many different shades visible at the edge of the torch lights. Small pools of water and slightly shiny rocks give the whole place a "magical" feel. You see no pokemon aside from diglet as you walk. Make a perception check.

As you are walking through the cave you notice a lump of what appears to be solid gold lying on the ground in a shadowy corner.

Roofie starts walking towards it. "Look there!" He points to it.

Lea looks at what you are pointing and takes a step toward it as well. "That looks pretty valuable." She says. "We should take it with us."

Roofie nods. He picks up the gold thing.

With the gold thing in hand you continue on down the way. For several hours everything seems about the same, but eventually you start to notice some changes in the path. It's getting narrower, the number of diglets is decreasing and you think you feel a slight upward slope. Now there are only one or two diglets every ten or so meters.

Roofie gestures to them. "Let's try to catch one." He whispers. "There aren't as many anymore, and we could just..." He trails off. She'll get the picture.

Lea nods and calls out a weird bug pokemon. She gestures to two diglets pretty separated from the others. Then she waits for you to take out your pokemon. Your Unknown got 150 exp from the previous fight with the thug and his zubat.

The Pokemon is a Nincada. The diglets are still there.

Roofie throws a pokeball at a diglet. It was a 20.

The pokeball shakes several times before coming to a rest. During this period the other Diglett closes with Lea's Nincada, and realleases some sort of ground based attack. Nincada doesn't seem very effected by it however and Lea tells her to use Leach Life. This move also doesn't seem to do much, though it definately healed off the damage that Diglett already caused. Your Diglett is level 18, female, has the ability Sand Veil, and has a Modest nature. Trainer action and pokemon command for round 2.

Roofie tells Cryogonal to use bind on the diglett. "Use a pokeball on it!" Roofie yells. 14 to hit, 11 for damage

Lea throws a pokeball but the diglett shakes it off instantly. It uses the move it used last time again, this time to much more devastating effect. Cryogonal successfully uses bind on the diglett and it is trapped. (How Cryogonal uses bind I will never know) Lea's pokemon spent its turn watching the diglett escape the ball.
